Crème brûlée

Crème Brûlée is a dessert with French origins that is really popular all over the world. It can be served individually or with ice-cream and fruit.

Ingredients:

1 L of milk

7 egg yolks

250 G of sugar

Lemon peel

Cinammon Stick

4 tablespoons of cornstarch

Brown Sugar

Instructions:

Boil the milk together with the lemon peel and the cinnamon stick.

In a copper casserole mix the sugar and the cornstarch, and add little by little the boiled milk until it wraps the whole mixture, while always stirring.

Place the pan again in the stove until the mixture boils so that it thickens, while stirring. Slowly add the beaten egg yolks. Place again in the stove for 2 minutes, so that the egg yolks cook, without ever stop stirring.

Pour the crème brûlée in a platter and, after it cools, spread a little yellow sugar on top and burn with a proper paddle. You can also serve it in individual copper dessert cups.
